Useful Links
some first links for templates eg of boxes and boxmaker editors online
- editor makercase, for simple boxes with flat, finger and t-slot joints. for round boxes. for boxes with dividers.
- editor boxes.py, for basic boxes and joints, but much more. an editor to create templates especially for working with the lasercutter. in german and english.
- viking box generator. for a box with special joints for assembling and re-assembling a container eg for raspi: wedge connectors, so no glue needed.
- templatemaker
useful for basic formats, boxes, polygonal things in general. for creating and downloading custom sized (mostly) papercraft and packaging templates. also for folding templates.
- blog for a lot of diy technologies full of links and informations. the tag boxmaker is somewhat older, but still useful. with some instructions and more links:
- easy online generators, just for boxes
- somehow helpful in customizing your own box, but not such a clear layout.
- a kind of tutorial for this one: http://boxdesigner.frag-den-spatz.de/help/guide_letterbox.pdf
if you know of other box generators or useful links, add these here and write a short comment of what to find there.
