3D Printing
3D Printing is a technology which makes it possible to reproduce digital objects in physical space For using it, you´ll need different kinds of software and a 3D model that you want to print out.
Software
For 3D Printing apart from software for manipulating and repairing 3D Files itself you will need a so called "Slicer". It is a piece of software which takes your 3D Model, slices it into single layers and calculates the necessary machine code to print out the layers on the machine. The finished machine code is then transferred to the printer to print it out, which could happen via an SD Card, USB Cable or over Network.
